A beautifully easy layer with a rather special story behind it, our limited edition Mira Gilet combines cosy teddy texture with delicate hand embroidery and thoughtfully repurposed details.
Made in a small, limited run of only 30 pieces, Mira celebrates the beauty of giving existing textiles a new chapter. Vintage fabrics bring their own character to each piece, making her feel all the more individual.
Cut in an easy, sleeveless shape, Mira is made from soft black teddy and scattered with beautiful floral embroidery in soft cream and neutral tones. The monochrome palette makes her incredibly easy to wear, while the embroidery gives her that unmistakable Dilli Grey detail.
We’ve used vintage kantha offcuts for the patch pockets and recycled silk sari fabrics for the lining, overdying the different elements together in black. It means we can make use of beautiful leftover textiles that might otherwise have gone to waste, while preserving the subtle variations and texture that make each piece special.
Finished with simple black binding around the neckline, armholes and edges, Mira has two generous front pockets and an easy slip-on shape that’s perfect for layering. Wear her over one of our embroidered blouses, a simple knit or even a dress as the weather gets colder.
