Teal Dilkush print pyjama trousers
Our new winter Udaipur Sleepwear Collection is inspired by the restful, lakeside city of Udaipur in Rajasthan; meaning 'heart's desire' the Dilkush print is named after the Dil Kush Mahal in the City Palace, created as an inner sanctuary for the royal women. The intricate repeat print is reminiscent of the beautiful fretwork screens within these intimate quarters.
These wide-leg, super soft 100% organic cotton pj trousers come with a gently elasticated waist, pockets and are the perfect lightweight sleepwear for cosy, winter nights or loungewear on lazy days at home.
Our signature hand-block printing is done by artisans outside Jaipur. The blocks are carved from wood by hand, then printed using eco inks, by eye - no machinery is used. It is a technique that has changed very little over the centuries and takes years to master. The fabric is then dried in the Rajasthani sunshine before being sent to our tailors to be turned into our bespoke sleepwear, womenswear and quilts.
