3 style ideas to rework your summer wardrobe this September

If you're about to pack away your maxi dresses, boyfriend shirts and tunics for another year and dig out your knitwear and jeans, why not try these styling combos to get even more wear out of our ethically made, super soft cotton designs?

They're perfect for layering, slip a t-shirt underneath, or pop a sloppy knit ontop. I wear my maxi dresses all year round - bare foot and with a tan in France in August and layered up with poloneck, leather jacket, tights and Stan Smiths come winter.

Here are a few of my favourite looks:

Our hand-embroidered tunic dresses are amazing over jeans. Or why not flash your tan for as long as you can (or fake it!) with bare legs, ankle boots and a denim jacket (main pic). We're supposed to be heading into a September heatwave so this look is perfect for cold mornings and warmer days.

leather jacket street style london

This is the perfect example of how I imagine the 'Dilli Grey woman' interpreting my designs. A floral boho maxi dress, toughened up with a leather jacket and trainers. There is something very 'London' about this look, which is inherently me. Inspired by India but a London girl through and through.

Our new AW18 accessories are starting to arrive - first up, our new hand-loomed cotton scarves in coral and blue. They're perfect for layering up on early morning school runs over our shirts and tunics. I haven't had a chance to add them to the site yet, but email me - vickie@dilligrey.com to order one! (£35, each).
