Founder Musings: Focusing on the next, positive chapter

I don’t know about you but September always feels like a back to school for me too. As a Mum of teenagers having them back in their routine feels great and it does feel like a perfect time to make lists and goals for the coming months. I also find it quite a reflective time (some call it the new January) and boy has it been a rollercoaster this year.

During my personal musings last week I referred back to my journal that I sporadically keep, to reflect on my learnings and also to remind myself of all of the positive things that have happened. It is so easy to give more space to challenging situations but I focused more on the positive messages I had written to myself to keep my spirits up on a difficult day.

My heart is so full with so much love and support from the people around me who have helped me shape this small but mighty business. Our artisans in India who constantly rally around and continue to make the most beautiful collections for us, my very small team here in the UK who constantly go above and beyond working relentlessly on the details, the amazing influencer collaborators who help us spread the world of Dilli Grey and finally, most importantly our community, you. This sounds like an Oscar speech but as they say it takes a village to raise a child and Dilli Grey is my 3rd baby, I feel so lucky to have so many others nurturing and supporting her to her next phase of growth.

You may have seen on social that we have decided to take a leap of faith and have launched our very first crowd-funding campaign to invite our community to own a part of business and help us reach the next phase of our growth. My mission has always been to create the most exceptional designs celebrating Indian art in the most environmentally friendly manner possible.

So if you would like to join my revolution to banish fast fashion for good and to own a part of Dilli Grey then feel free to email for more details on our investor deck at invest@dilligrey.com
